I am founder of The Melanin Urban Gardener born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I founded The Melanin Urban Gardener back in 2015 when I decided to over haul my parents yard. The first 2 years were probably the hardest for me. There was a lot of trial and error but once I got the hang of vegetable gardening everything took off from there. When I created The Melanin Urban Gardener I wanted to help as many people as I could get back to their gardening roots. Now I'm not the ultimate garden guru but I've learned a lot over the last few years. I would love to share my knowledge to as many people as I can and help them achieve the garden of their dreams.
